Sharon is affectionately known as The Toilet Whisperer, a title bestowed upon her due to her exceptional expertise in supporting both toddlers and parents, educators, and caregivers through the journey of toilet learning. Beyond the toddler classroom, Sharon shares her knowledge through consulting, on-line classes, virtual workshops, parent support groups, and caregiver mentoring. Born in Ohio, raised in Georgia, Sharon called Colorado home for ten years (with five moves during that time). she has recently returned to her southern roots near Macon, Georgia. She is a proud mother to four remarkable young women, each pursuing their unique passions: Isabel as a photographer and artist, Abigail as a writer, Madeline as a mathematician and furniture restorer, and Lydia as an undergraduate student double majoring in animal studies and psychology.
In addition to often traveling far and wide to spend time with her young adult children, Sharon finds joy in baking bread, attending concerts (Red Rocks is her favorite venue), camping, and finding thrift store treasures.
