The driving force behind the creation of The Toddler House stemmed from our desire to create an authentic learning community that truly meets the developmental needs of toddlers in an ideal setting.
As we began to more deeply define this idea and accessed our years of experience working with young children we came to a simple yet critical conclusion, we have to
“think small”.
At The Toddler House, we are fostering a living and learning community that is intimate, homey and cozy. This small scale environment is just right for your toddler’s first school experience. They will feel safe and secure with just the right balance of social and academic stimulation. We have created a program that is just right for toddlers with a focus on a mindful balanced approach to all aspects of their experience.
Using this “think small” concept as our foundational philosophy allows us to organically foster an exceptional learning environment where each child is valued, known and connected. We know that this smaller scale concept for The Toddler House is most ideal for fostering an organic nurturing community- not too big, not too small- it creates just the right mix of ages, developmental stages, personalities and learning styles to enable our guides to foster an authentic, secure, & joyful learning space for each child.
The roots of the toddler years run deep and we know that these first school experiences play a crucial role in establishing a secure and happy foundation for your child’s lifetime of growth and learning. We are so excited to create a space for this community of learners to gather together and to partner in creating an inspired and enthusiastic learning community for all of us- children, parents, teachers and families to grow and develop together.
